Review of The History Boys (2006) by Judie J — 19 Apr 2008
Pretty interesting British flick. Some really well-developed characters. Certain aspects of the story seemed under-developed or over-developed, which I suppose is the case when adapting musicals to film (see "Rent"). And seriously...was everyone gay in this movie? Is Great Britain just a haven for gay 16 year-olds and gay teachers?
Other than the sometimes-disjointed quality of the picture, and the high proportion of gay to straight men, very watchable and very interesting film.
