Review of The Hired Hand (1971) by Blackity B — 21 Oct 2011
A very strong western, and exactly the way a western should look and feel like. So many of the last year's version have 0 understanding of pace, mood and theme and just rush through with neck-breaking speed. That's not how you film a western. The Hired Hand, however, is. Yes, the story is not very extensive, but has sufficient depth to it to make for a pretty good plot.
Really enjoyed it.
