Story about young filmmaker who does documentary about long lost horrorfilm "The Hills Run Red". Rather interesting idea that leads to very mediocre teenslasher that is delightfully gory though.
Somehow this movie is ruined by the same thing that is wrong with most modern american torturehorror (like with Hostels for example). It is too cartoony to really make your stomach turn. Absolutely better than Friday 13th remake for example but there is so much better films in this genre out there.
