Review of The Hills Run Red (2009) by Ad V — 01 Sep 2012
An impressive and likeable newgen slasher marred slightly by an unimpressive ending. This doesnt ruin the overall enjoyment fortunately but it does lose half a star. I also enjoyed the little in-jokes scattered throughout the film like the fact that there is already a Western called The Hills Run Red and the sly poke at torture-porn movies.
Overall it's sure to please the indiscriminate slice-and-dice-em crowd.
