Review of The Hills Have Eyes (1977) by Laimis Z — 06 Feb 2010
This was truly terrifying. I wouldnt say scary but tense. its not only about making americans getting scared of their own people. this film is also about gender roles and modern family values. wes craven shows how to make low budget horror and play with relevant fears.
and he does it very well. who goes looking for mines into the desert anyways?
