Review of The Hidden Blade (2004) by Edmundo L — 23 Aug 2007
Superbly made, beautifuly paced fi.
I am majorly hooked on to Yojiro Yamada's realistic Samurai seris. Forget Tom Cruise. Think people. Shows the other side of the Bushido code - the crushing burden it places on people who are often not in a position to either understand (most were simple, fighting men and lived in remote, rural areas)or exercise control over their fates.
