I didn't have too high expectation for this film. But it's really good, and I'd say it's even better than Love and Honor. Yamada Yoji is so great. He challenges all the assumptions we have about samurai.
The sword fighting scenes are so simple, yet remarkable. I learned a great lesson on cultivating a strong heart.
