Review of The Heroes of Telemark (1965) by Ilsa W — 08 May 2008
Real Boys Own stuff. Decent enough war movie but there's little in the way of tension. The best bit is when Kirk Douglas and Richard Harris get chased by Nazis on skis. Also features the excellent Anton Driffing, an actor who spent his entire career playing silver haired, sinister SS officers.
.. which is ironic as he had actually fled Germany before the war to escape the Nazis.
