Review of The Heroes of Telemark (1965) by Andrew H — 11 Jan 2009

It takes a while to get into but once you get into it it's a really good adventure. There are some great scene especially scenes involving a chase on Skis, which is is shot excellently.

But some other scenes let the film down such as a scene involving the aerial bombing of a factory which is completely unrealistic.

Richard Harris and Kirk Douglas play their roles extremely well and some of the scenes where the two are loggerheads are great, especially the dialogue.
