I was appalled to see a very serious book turned into a comedy that borders on silly. The filmmakers took a really important topic and deflated it like a balloon. Totally over-acted and sentimentalized, in my opinion.
I actually thought that it made fun of the very people that the book was trying to empower. Just awful!
