Review of The Help (2011) by Bradley H — 28 Dec 2012
I had trouble buying Emma Stone early in the film, but the overall strength of the rest of the cast outweighed those reservations in the end. It is not a perfect script, pulling some punches while not providing an entirely satisfying ending.
However, the performance of Viola Davis elevates the entire film into something memorable.
