Oh the actors are great in this film! Emma Stone plays a sweet, brave, yet tough girl who decides to write a secret book about what black maids face in 1960s Jackson Mississippi!! Oh my goodness what stories they had to tell!! Really horrible things happened and the racism is just inexplicably AWFUL!! This movie is very touching, and I did need a kleenex or two.
I loved Jessica Chastain's character and Bryce Dallas Howard did an awesome job being horrible. I enjoyed it and it didn't drag at all...2 hours and 17 minutes went by quick.
