I'm not quite as enamored with this film as everyone else it seems. though I certainly admit the acting by the leads is memorable, though I would have preferred Errol Flynn in the gold digger role.
Why did he turn it down? I dislike all the characters in the end and it seems degrading to make the truly glorious Olivia De Haviland into a plain, even ugly character.
