Review of The Heartbreak Kid (1972) by Eric R — 03 Nov 2010
Despite the Ishtar debacle, I prefer to remember Elaine May as an actual talented director who gave us this great comedy back in the 70's. A man on his honeymoon has possibly met the woman of his dreams in the form of beautiful Cybill Shepherd.
It's sharp, it's witty, it's way better than the idiotic remake starring Ben Stiller.
