Review of The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things (2004) by Matt O — 11 Jul 2007
A well acted, well written, well filmed, well edited and all around good movie based on the novel by J.T. LeRoy. Its unflinching portrayal of child abuse and neglect is deffinitely disturbing. I loved the bit parts from Winona Ryder, Peter Fonda, Michael Pitt and Marilyn Manson.
Weird, weird characters. Really bleak and depressing.
