Review of The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things (2004) by Rhiannon P — 19 Mar 2011
Disturbing portrayal of a dysfunctional, drug addicted mother and the horrors she perpetrates on her son in an effort to save him from a life in foster homes and/or a life with her religious zealot father.
It has been nearly a week since I've watched it and I still can't get thoughts of it out of my head. It is a worthwhile effort, but you can't call it enjoyable. On a side note, I was driven crazy by the fact that Cole and Dylan Sprouse played the same character.
I could tell when they switched them out and I found it distracting.
