Review of The Hawk Is Dying (2007) by Ben L — 05 Nov 2007
This was a pretty intense film, about the strong bond between a hawk and it's trainer.
I'm not sure that I can take too much away from the film, other than Giamatti's honest performance. It's definitely a writer's film, where metaphor and symbolism mean more than story and revealing action. So all you writers or readers, who want to dive into this complex drama, and hope to make sense of the myriad of relationships, go for it.
