Review of The Haunting in Connecticut (2009) by Jake T — 24 Apr 2011
This film definitely exceeded the expectations that I had upon initially going in. I figured it would be just another PG-13 ghost-a-palooza, but the story was actually very well cast. There are some pretty good special effects, although I did think many performances were weak, particularly Virginia Madsen and Martin Donovan.
Their drama scenes in this movie feel weak and out of place. Other than that, I thought the movie was great.
