If you ignor the beginning where it says based on a true story, then this is a good thriller. I think it got a bad wrap because of that "based on" phrase. You have to remember that directors and writers use artist license to make everything more dramatic.
..which was obviously done here. so forget that "based on true story" crap and just enjoy the movie! Make sure to watch some of the Bonus features....good stuff!
