Review of The Haunting (1963) by Tommy S — 23 Mar 2008
"You may not believe in ghosts, but you cannot deny terror.".
For monochromatic addicts. Visually brilliant. Excellent exercise on human fear. Monumental frightening mansion, brought forth as the most prominent character. Honest incarnations. (Those faces of the past...) Some unnecessary mind dialogs. Suitable flesh made soundtrack. Reversed way into the future. Evil well kept in the shadows.
How can you kill, that which you cannot see? ...I welcome you in.
