Review of The Haunting (1963) by Travis B — 25 May 2008
The doors, the doorknobs the haunting soundtrack and Julie harris's voiceover give me chills. the fast tracking shots and the camera angles adjusts perfectly to the moment. The jack of all genres delivers a underrated masterpiece.
The cinematography was splendidly done. there aint no ghosts but it is one of the scariest movies ... very rare..a pyschological horror.. totally gripping.
