Saw this as a kid ....frightened me.
Read the book.....terrific...... have seen it many times....and highly.
Recommend as a halloween special. Great in Back and White... camera work is awesome too.... especially when you realize the director Robert Wise was also film editor on Citizen Kane. watch it only in widescreen.
Turn off all the lights...sit back and enjoy!!!
He directed this between West Side STory and Sound of Music.... go figure eh???
