It had some groovy ideas, and the general plot was fun. But it just was way too crude and probably alienated a good chunk of its female audience. What you want is a classic that friends can watch in a movie night of mixed company, not a movie that women will punch their boyfriends for making them watch.
.. I'm a huge Rob Zombie fan, and the comic this was based on was pretty good, but I repeat, it was JUST TOO CRUDE!
