Review of The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (2009) by Trevor C — 11 Jun 2010

I was really hoping for something that had a little more to do with House of 1000 corpses other than the fact that it had Dr. Satan and a brief appearance of Otis and Captain Spaulding, and I was really hoping that it would've been something more than an "Animaniacs" styled cartoon with adult humor and nudity.

it was seriously just child humor mixed with slang, gore, tits, swearing, and etc., which isn't really a bad thing, but the fact that it came from Rob Zombie is a little disappointing, seeing that I was wishing for something a little more disturbing or twisted or something like that.

either way its really entertaining, and Rob Zombie is able to perfectly match the style of the Animaniacs or some WB cartoon or some Cartoon Network cartoon. though its not as good (or as badass) as Heavy Metal, it can be related to it pretty closely with its excessive gore and nudity.

I can't say I was impressed, but I also can't say I absolutely hated it.
