Review of The Hateful Eight (2015) by Herndonrules — 09 Jan 2016
What a mess. Sorry to see the Tarantino winning streak end so dismally. No reason for this to have been shot in 70 mm (if you want spectacular cinematography check out The Revenant) since 90% of the film takes place in a cabin.
Much too long, ponderous, excessively over the top violence, even by Tarantino standards and a waste of superior acting talent. Earns two stars for Walton Goggins breaking out.
