Review of The Hateful Eight (2015) by Morgan E — 21 Dec 2017
Tarantino takes iconoclasm to a new level in an entertaining and focused movie. The characters are flawed and share conflicting perspectives which come to a head when a blizzard forces them to take shelter in a stage coach and then a cabin.
I consider The Hateful Eight to be Tarantino's best film. The art direction is superb and the truisms about American culture, past and present, are poignant.
