Review of The Hate U Give (2018) by Ian B — 18 Oct 2018
This was the most powerful depiction of the current state of affairs between police shootings and unarmed black men yet. The actors did an amazing job owning their roles in a way that was organic and never forced.
I hope they kill at the box office and equally hoping that non blacks flood the theaters. It would allow seeing a touchy subject from a different vantage point.
