Song and dance? Check! Karaokee? Check! Heart warming family drama? Check! Claymation fight sequence? Check! Zombies? Check! That adds up to five stars in my book.
One of the few musicals that I truly like. Definitely the only Japanese horror-musical-comedy that I like. This film is brave and creative in a way that is rarely pulled off. There's something incredibly endearing about the family members in this movie. Everytime I watch it I'm so happy that they pull together in the end.
