Why did people cuss this movie so bad? This is what happens when the original sets a benchmark, people always want the same thing but new which means it is almost impossible to please. 'Hangover:Part 3' isn't amazing, probably hovering around the same quality as the second one, but at least they changed up the whole 'day after' formula because I think a third time would have been one too many.
Things get more dangerous for the wolf pack with kidnapping, gangsters, burglary, murder being thrown in here and there. I didn't mind the darker tone but I understand why it may raise a few eyebrows from loyal followers.
Most of the characters play second fiddle to Zach Galifianakis and Ken Jeong which works because they are the ones with the best personalities, even though this does show that there weren't too many different sources of comedy.
Won't be rushing to watch it again but if I was in a room and somebody put it on, I wouldn't be the one complaining.
