The Guyver is basically a super-cheesy, big-budget version of Power Rangers. Whether that's a good or bad thing is your call. I was definitely entertained, but the Guyver could've been so much more.
First of all, the battle/fight scenes are extra lame. Boring! Second, the acting is HELLA cheese. It could work for something like this, but damn, there's cheese, then this. Plus, the Guyver suit doesn't really do much apart from look cool.
But, the film is never boring, the creature fx are excellent, and the whole thing is still a hoot and a half to watch.
