Review of The Guest (2014) by Callum H — 07 Jan 2015
Every gunman in this film, except the lead protagonist, does not know how to shoot and aim a gun.
The acting in this film is surprisingly great.
Incredibly fun and intense final act.
Cliched first act, featuring social justice themes that are overtly blatant.
The soundtrack is generic, Cliff Martinez electronics. Only, they're actually good.
Dan Stevens is one creepy mother fucker.
This is the most generic, stupid, repetitive... overtly entertaining film of last year. It's paced to perfection, never has a dull spot, and despite its idiocy, proves to be a great watch.
