Review of The Guest (2014) by Faris S — 01 May 2015
Really like the thought of this movie as a stereotypical workaholic father, diner daughter, distraught mother and bullied son twisted with that cliche dà (C)jà vu feel that makes it original. Adam Wingard's directing is similar to how he directed You're Next- the music score is similar too, the way the catchy band song comes in and intensifies during the final showdown.
Great film.
