Sometimes I really wonder if I am watching the same movie as the critics. I was totally absorbed by this brilliant move. It made me laugh and it made me cry. The actors were superb. I love the conematography and I loved all the set.... Not that I have e ver been to Guernsey, but it is exactly how I imagined it. ( okay I know it was shot in Cornwall).
If you like a good story, good acting, good sets, great costumes then I think you will love this movie. It is not just a tear jerker but a wonderfully construected and executed movie.
