Not because I'm a fan of Lily James but she really is stellar in every role. I loved her in this charming little period drama that left me emotionally wrecked. The storytelling was fantastic and I was really drawn into that time and place in history.
The movie is visually pleasant, the costumes are beautiful, and the ending is a perfect happily ever after. It's a nice change from the crowded blockbusters of today.
