I loved this movie! A friend's husband is from Guernsey, but I knew very little about this island's history, so I loved learning more about this island and seeing the vistas. I thought this movie delivered the harsh reality of Nazi occupation, without taking you to a place of despair.
It does this by weaving the stories of characters we all want to be, and we all want to have as friends. I don't need anything else in a movie.
