Review of The Guardian (2006) by Don A — 16 May 2011
I really didn't think much about this movie when it first came out as I was not a Kutcher fan, but Costner and, as much as I try not to like him, Kutcher do actually work quite well together and compliment each other very well in the movie. The movie is truly more character/story driven than action, dealing with two cheracters whose best days are seemingly behind them.
As critics have stated, you've seen it all before.. Top Gun crossed with Officer and a Gentlemen, etc.
But what movie hasn't been remade a million times.
Breathtaking soundtrack by Trevor Rabin.
