Review of The Guard (2011) by William H — 26 Feb 2012
Brendan Gleeson is perfect as Sergeant Boyle, who is one of the most interesting characters in a cop drama for years. The story is good but it's the characters that make this movie, from the dying mother that wants to try cocaine, to the kid that likes to turn up at crime scenes to take pictures, they are all brilliant.
