Review of The Grudge 3 (2009) by Sarah — 29 Oct 2009

Okay, how the heck can a second sequel be better than either of the first two? I don't even know. But this was. I almost hate saying it...but I liked it. There were some terrifying scenes in this - particularly the opening, the dollhouse scene, and the painting scene, which actually scared the crap outta me.

The cast was decent; some actors were better than others, but that's how it happens in scary movies. There was a bit more gore than the first two (hence the R rating), but it fit into the rest of the movie just fine.

Also, I totally called the ending, and it was my favorite of all the endings so far. Quite a fun movie for Halloween viewing!
