Review of The Grudge 3 (2009) by Don S — 16 Jul 2010
The story is wearing thin at this point. Cheap jump scares and the "creepy" starkness of the pale spirits with black eyes are just not enough to keep me enthralled anymore. The curse moved to America in the previous movie, and now a character from Japan comes to put it to rest over here.
Things don't go as planned of course. The acting is effective, which is more than you usually get in most horror movies. Worth watching, but the franchise is definitely on the down swing.
