Generally, I like remakes of Jhorror, but this was just bad. The cast was all wrong and the movie, with the exception of a few somewhat tense moments and a few jump scenes is just completely not scary.
The film showed a massive misunderstanding of Japanese spiritual beliefs about the dead and it just didn't sit well with me.
