Review of The Grudge (2004) by Eriel B — 21 Jan 2011
There seems to be no in between for this film--people either love it or hate it. I suppose it depends on what spooks you...that's why most never seem to agree on horror films.
I will follow by stating that The Grudge is severely underrated. I'm a horror film buff, who is pretty much desensitized to this kind of thing, and rarely even get partially effected by what I am seeing. To this date, only THIS film managed to spook the living shit out of me, to the point where I walked out of the theater as white as Kyoko herself. Add about a month of uneasy sleep to that inital shock, and you have yourself a horror movie winner. I bow down.
