Review of The Grudge (2004) by Alan H — 12 Aug 2014
This movie would have been GREAT if scenes were placed in the correct order. Instead you find yourself watching flashbacks without even knowing it, wondering what is going on. I wish the ghosts (?) had more purpose, because it seems like they just terrorize everyone, but this movie had a lot of scary scenes and many of them weren't cheap jump scares.
When I watch a scary movie, good scares with few/none being cheap comes before a great plot (although a decent plot is still necessary), so this movie delivered on that front.
