Things I really like are the animation and the warm Christmas feeling it gives. Especially at the end. Benedict Cumberbatch does a passable job as the Grinch but some characters and plot lines are pretty unnecessary.
Most of the jokes aren't too bad and I love the score from Danny Elfman and the original songs by Tyler The Creator. A fun Christmas film is all this is and even if you don't like it, there's still the other two versions and the book.
