Big fan of Dr. Seuss and this story. I am also a big fan of animation, story and comedy. This movie is an adaptation from all previous versions. While the animation is slick and there is a lot of music it lacks in comedy and delivery.
Jim Carreys version is a staple for us during Christmas and won't be replaced with this version.
