Disappointing. So many unnecessary changes from the original. Why is Cindy Lou being raised by a single mom? The introduction of the reindeer and its family was unnecessary. Why did they feel the need to give the Grinch a "best friend"? The Jim Carrey movie was at least funny.
This has a few cute moments, but on the whole, it's really contrived and boring.
