Dr. Seuss is completely vacant from this film. And no, it's not because it's original in any sense. Ron Howard somehow managed to make a live-action film that represented the illustrated characters better and it goes without saying that his version wasn't perfect either but it was worlds better than this sham.
..it's not just disappointing...it's a shameful excuse for a Dr. Seuss adaptation.
