Review of The Grey Zone (2001) by Cavan T — 05 Apr 2007
I think devastating is the best term for this movie. It's unimaginably bleak in tone which, unfortunately, works given the subject matter of the film. This film does just about everything right and delivers a powerful viewing experience. However, the one thing it doesn't do right - the delivery of the dialogue - is so distracting that it turned what should've been an above-average film into a merely average one.
If you're not bothered by that kind of thing I highly recommend it.
