Review of The Grey (2012) by Russ M — 06 Jan 2013
This was a movie made by dipshits who don't live in cold weather and have no clue how to write an ending. Anytime a film ends abruptly as this did always leaves me with the impression that they had no clue where to take this story and decided to let the viewer do what they want in their own imaginations.
The glaring lack of reality in cold weather survival - wearing wet clothes after falling into a raging river (which in Alaska, would be frozen solid) and hiking onward without hypothermia kicking in is ludicrous and an insult to the veiwer's intelligence. The wolves looked like Muppets with glowing eyes and the CGI was just sloppy.
An absolute waste of time and the only reason it didn't get one star was because I didn't rent it at redbox so I only wasted a part of my time and not my money.
