Review of The Green Mile (1999) by Conor O — 01 Aug 2012
One of the few book adaptations which I actually enjoyed.
Although enjoyed is kind of the false word when descirbing what I felt while watching this flick.
I find myself trying not to cry while watching this movie and I've failed 6 times already. The end is heartbreaking and makes you think about your life and the rest of the world.
After watching it the first time I wasn't even able to talk for the next hour because I couldn't quite cope with what I just watched.
If you like drama and don't mind crying while watching movies, you should definitely watch this movie. The only minus would be the over average lenght of the movie. 3 hours is a lot to sit through but in this case I didn't mind at all.
