Review of The Green Mile (1999) by Mike B — 20 Aug 2012
Slowly but beautifully paced movie. Ignore the idiots who say it is too long. I watched this with my kids, and they made no such accusation. Tom Hanks is in top form, delivering a natural and understated performance.
A gentle humanistic treatment of good and evil, death and deliverance, interspersed with shocking scenes of execution. There's even a cute mouse!
